Happy days. But you are right - his style hasn't aged well. Although, having said that, his album 'Cosmic Wheels' is still a regular in my car CD player. He tried to sell me a full length black leather coat because he'd come to Northants for a trade show and didn't want to take the sample home. very plausible but I was skint.<br />So nothing changes. I'm still skint.<br /><br />I saw Donovan in concert ate the Albert Hall in late 67/early 68. One of the best concerts I saw.<br /><br />However, his stylised vocal has not travelled well down the age.<br /><br />I'm considering a new version of "Season of the witch" for my new project. I have fond memories of that song, as Fairport opened with it when they played the Savile Theatre in late 67.
