Alex Salmond's Christmas card

Alex Salmond is sending this Christmas card this year. It has bugger all to do with Christmas and looks like it's a screen shot from a Leni Riefenstahl movie. All a bit spooky and Aryan if you ask me.

That's the modern artist WW. It'll be a beautiful painting I'm sure though. I'd hang it on my wall but I doubt if my auction bid will be accepted.

So, you're saying that Gerard Burns is a propagandist for a party that aspires to become a fascist party who slaughtered millions of innocents?

A contemporary Hubert Lanzinger?

Of course WW is not saying that.

But the card is objectionable on many grounds, not least the exploitation of a youngster and how someone can pass off a photograph as a painting.

I'm a loyal supporter of Alex Salmond, but I wish Moira would sometimes exercise a bit of judgment.

Thanks Hamish. I have voted SNP for years, just for the avoidance of doubt, but I don't vow unquestioning obedience to the cause, especially if I feel the message is damaging to that cause.

It's not very Christmassy and avoids mentioning Christianity so it fits in well with the SNP agenda.
Independence in Europe with a fully inclusive multicutural agenda.
Socialism. From cradle to grave.

I think is quite a good painting on it and speaking as an Englishman I'd love to get a card from a Scot with the Scottish flag on it. Nobody wants the Scotts to get apologetic for being Scottish. The Scottish are popular for their national pride and celtic bravado.

Presumably Mr Morton has credited you after lifting your imagery?
