Shutting down dissent, the Labour way.

If you read nothing else today, read The Times Leader. It includes this, in a piece which is a damning indictment of the way Labour and Brown lean on their people. I wonder if it includes its leading bloggers?

From before he became Prime Minister, Mr Brown’s critics have alleged that he is incapable of tolerating dissent. He has command of a political machine that he is not afraid to use to ensure that doubters are silenced. The manner of his coronation as Labour leader is the defining case in point. Mr Brown’s acolytes sought to close down all argument and replace it with a sense of victimhood and entitlement.
