£/Euro parity?

Hans Redeker, of BNP Paribas:

There is going to be euro strength, and sterling weakness, down to euro repatriation. I assume that by the end of this year the pound and euro hit parity and sterling may even fall further.

Of course, this won't affect the Pound in your pocket, because it will probably become a Euro.

Never mind, at least Turkey is still cheap.

Turkey is still cheap right enough. I wonder if things there will change when they join the EU. 100 million muslims will move from Turkey to the rest of Europe so maybe it will get even cheaper !
Psst.. don't mention the Armenian massacre when you're over there. They don't believe in free speech apparently.
