Yes it's the real me

I have been in disguise for too long. For better or worse, the banner is me as I really am, or was, last year on Luing. I don't photograph well, but, hey, we cannot all be Clare Short.

Anyway it is all part of the new approach. I shall go for broke and give you it all. Or nearly all. You can also call me Ged. That's my name, except that it has not been hard to figure that out if you followed the links.

Welcome back to the 'sphere Ged!

Nice to see the real you, although that RAF outfit suited you, I thought. You really needed a pipe clenched between your teeth, though, for the full effect. Now you look a bit, well, relaxed.

WV: abogio, Italian for snot.

Thanks you're back to blogging.

Welcome back!

(May I point out that I too am a reformed character; not that I was particularly bad before. In that former existence I was heaped with insults (e.g. "scrofulous mountebank") by the uncaring breachers of my yuman rights, bullies to a man, who ganged up on me just because I had found favour with SPPC.)

Rab, It's odd being called Ged on here, but unlike some, I have nothing to lose by being me, as long as I don't go personal with the rest of the family.

Richard, I have recently experimented with a pipe. I am not sure if it has a future, since I may as well wear a pair of false breasts for all the cool value it will accrue, especially in these censorious times.

AP 1984, I agree with you about Mike Fuller, and since you have written a splendid piece about the Dizaei affair, I shall refer to it shortly!

T.P. Fuller! I hope you have come back. The blogosphere was enriched by your imaginative but mercurial appearances. It is high time a certain village found its way into the limelight.

Welcome back indeed.

But how were we supposed to know you were back?!

Should you take another one of your breaks, is there some easier way of finding out when you are back without having to periodically call by and then discovering we've missed several weeks worth of content?
