Apparently there is a story going around again about dodgy eggs. Dioxin residue in commercially produced eggs, leeched over from the feed, which by the way is probably full of more shite than Nick Robinson.
Sorry if you are pregnant. I gather it is illegal to dock tails these days.
Of course, the Weasel has had his own private supply of eggs now for 8 years. Our chickens are fed on mixed corn, layers pellets and rice, followed by porridge and occasionally a bit of cheese. (chickens will do anything for cheese and a chicken that does not eat cheese is a dead chicken)
So while you are all growing extra fingers and feeling like you have just eaten at the Vladimir Putin Sushi Bar and Grill, Weasel is enjoying wonderfully dioxin free eggs. Fuck off, losers!

When I kept chickens, we fed them on layers mash (as well table scraps and the rest). Are you sure you know what's in your layers pellets?
Maybe not dioxins, but ... dead chickens?
Richard, they don't eat them! They get wasted because we mix it with grain and they pick the grain out.
children don't eat brussels, chickens dont eat layer's!
It's organic, so if they accidentally get one I suspect they will survive.
One or two of ours were brought up on layers pellets and kind of see them as comfort food, but really they are spoiled rotten. Parmesan Porridge is a favourite.
The stuff we gave ours was pretty industrial, came in sacks and smelt highly dodgy, so I can't think it was in any way organic. Trouble was, the little buggers loved it.
Paremsan porridge sounds good people-food, mind you. Must try it.
A bit Heston Blumenthal if you ask me.
Chickens will also eat frogs (live ones at that) and I gather that they love strawberries.
Sad, Chickens are very naughty.
But sexy with it, don't you find?
